Subreddit rules, checked
Every subreddit decides whether it takes media, galleries or flair. Posts are validated against those rules before they're sent.
Required flair
When a subreddit requires flair, set flairId. Leaving it off is the most common reason a Reddit post gets rejected.
Profile or subreddit
sr takes either r/subreddit or u/username, so posting to your own profile is the same request.
Straight about metrics
Reddit doesn't provide impressions or reach, and profile analytics aren't available. Post votes, comments and crossposts are.

Reddit API: common questions
Can I post to any subreddit with the API?
Yes, as long as the connected Reddit account is allowed to post there. Set sr to the subreddit (r/name) or to your own profile (u/username).
What about subreddits that require flair?
Pass flairId. Posts are validated against the subreddit's rules — including media, galleries and flair — before they go out.
Can I schedule Reddit posts?
Yes. Give the post a postDate and Bulkit publishes it at that time.
What Reddit analytics are available?
Per-post upvotes, downvotes, comments and crossposts, and views where Reddit returns them. Reddit doesn't provide impressions, reach or profile-level analytics.
